The story, his words, the sentiments, the videos, the dancing, the energy. What a wonderful way to roll into Friday. Thank you for the introduction to Nick Cave, his art, his philosophy, his life!

It all began with the unquenchable delight of Sharron Cave, who could turn a handful of popcorn into a celebration. I love Nick Cave and I love Sharron. The magic he makes is a tribute to her.

This piece moved me. Thank you. I’ve like Nick Cave’s work and am so happy to learn about his mother and the legacy she has created.

Nick Cave’s installation, Until, at Mass MOCA was my introduction to his work. The immensity of whimsy he used to express his response to continued violence against black men was unique, powerful and uplifting. You knew this was created by a pretty special artist. Thanks, Bailey, for giving us a wonderful view of his life. It shows him to be a pretty special person!

Beautiful piece, Bailey. I must’ve gone a half-dozen times to the retrospective at the MCA in Chicago. What an artist, what a life.

Thank you, Bailey Richardson and Art Dogs for this wonderful article. I had only heard of Nick Cave through one piece of media - if indeed it is even the same Nick Cave - as singer of the Peaky Blinders theme song "Red Right Hand". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KGD2N5hJ2e0 I had no idea of the amazing life story and incredible art this man has contributed to the world! I thank you so much for bringing such a beautiful post of a beautiful man (and his dog Bam Bam!) and all the people he has helped along the way. Such a joy to read.
